We allow the following items but are not limited to: BPAP, CPAP, Dialysis machines, Nebulizers, POCs, Crutches, canes, walkers, and other mobility aids. You do not need to let us know ahead of time with the exception of portable oxygen concentrators. Let us know if you are bringing a POC by e-mailing email@example.com 48 hours before your flight. For all other items, allow plenty of time to tell the agent at the check-in counter when you arrive at the airport.
Effective September 15, 2021 guests won’t be permitted to use CPAP/BPAP machines onboard the aircraft (unless required for life sustaining measures). This restriction is in response to the increased risk of airborne transmissibility of the COVID-19 Delta variant and these devices increase the amount of aerosol particles expelled into the cabin.
Always bring your medication in your carry-on item, as your checked baggage is not accessible in the event of a delay. Please ensure that only medical items are packed in this carry-on item, as we will waive the fee. If the medical devices/ items are mixed in with personal items such as clothing, a carry-on bag fee will be charged.
More information regarding what items are allowed and how to properly prepare/ pack them is available here.
